PLACENTECH® is an unprecedented technological platform on a global scale.

Inspired by the research work of Prof. Sophie Gil, Professor of the Paris-Descartes University, Placentech® uses ex vivo placental perfusion models and placental cultures in order to study the metabolism of the human placenta and its reaction to potentially toxic molecules: passage, accumulation and toxicity of xenobiotics. The gathering of this clinical and biological date aims to improve perinatal clinical practices and pharmacology. This information is linked to the Perinat Collection database, therefore multiplying the possibilities of analysis.
